Made a fixture out of wood just for centering.
Used a China 4flute endmill for this and it rely got the Jobb done til I screwed it up when I was adjusting the finish contour.
The cut was done with boring op with full depth finish pass.
Boring at 0.5mm/ rev 2700mm/m 8000rpm
Finish at
6mm DOC 0.1 WOC 0.015 ipt 8000rpm and 2700mm/m
So as long as I don’t mess up in cam the Shapeoko will do hard metals to ;).
