When cutting stars on US flag which bit does a better job? 60 degree or 90 degree? And why?
@KevBarn14 did a practice run showing some different styles and things may be worth a look.
Also if u search the forum there is over 50+ discussions about flags and stars ect… lots of knowledge and viewpoints out there. For me i prefer a 60 degree v bit as I feel it gives me sharper stars.
I had a woodworking club 2x4 contest back in Sept 2023. I used a 15 degree vee and 1/8" end mill with advanced vcarve and it came out pretty good. The material was about 24" wide x 12" tall.
