Step 6 Drag Chain

I am setting up new Shapeoko Pro XXL. I got to Step 6 and am confused. My Data Drag Chain Head Bracket looks nothing like instructions. It mounts to back of X/Z assembly but with 4 BHCS SCREWS. Do I mount plate up or down with flange? Instructions say down, but then it mounts to left of motor looking from the back. It also then doesn’t allow X/Y transition bracket to mount?? HELP
