I can’t find a way to save a stepover setting on a new tool. When I go into the csv file for the tool settings it only gives a setting for a 3D stepover and not a 2D stepover. So every time I use the tool I have to change the stepover in the edit tool section. Am I missing something?
At this time, stepover is not something which can be entered for tools in a 2D context:
number,vendor,model,URL,name,type,diameter,cornerradius,flutelength,shaftdiameter,angle,numflutes,stickout,coating,metric,notes,machine,material,plungerate,feedrate,rpm,depth,cutpower,finishallowance,3dstepover,3dfeedrate,3drpm
Thanks …I’m surprised…wouldn’t have thought it difficult to fix.
The way it seems to me is the default is workable enough, and changing it is situational enough, and comes up often enough that it doesn’t make sense to dedicate a field to it.
