I’m trying to make a gingerbread molding using a stl from osbornewood /pierced-grape-moulding re sizing it to 6" wide 8’ long and adding a top border to attach it to a building:
**it will import into vectric but not carbide create pro (i just did vectric trial) **

Is it in ASCII format?
If presented with a set of STL files in ASCII format such as:
which will not import into Carbide Create Pro, they must be opened in a 3rd party tool such as Microsoft’s 3D Builder:
and re-saved as a binary STL which will then import as expected:
body_binary.stl (1.8 MB)

If that’s not it, upload the file here or send it in to support@carbide3d.com

ASCII format:
So we open in Microsoft 3D Builder:
where once it is repaired it may be re-saved as a binary format STL:
891933_3dstl_binary.stl (2.2 MB)
which imports as expected:
(scaled up by 25.4 assuming it was supposed to be Imperial measure (inches) rather than millimeters)
