Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

You have selected “form” mill. Try Flat endmill, or possibly Facemill
Use Flat Endmill, it has a 1" tool in there. Facemill only has a 2" tool listed.
When I select flat end tools, the 6210 does not show up in the list of WhteSide bits. It only shows up if I select Form tools. There is something here that I am not getting. I know that the 6210 is one of the more popular bits for resurfacing a spoil board.
Do I have to create a custom bit for resurfacing?
Myself, I would edit the whiteside tool to change the designation from form tool, to facemill. doing so, you have to make a couple of adjustments, attached is a screenshot of what I’d try.
OK then. I will try that. Thank you very much for the info.
