SVG freelancers

Morning, thanks in advance. I have a few svg files that I either converted or bought that are not CNC ready. Even though I am trying to master AI and other applications it is too slow. Are there freelancers that are experts that do this for pay? I know there are for web applications and programming, just wasn’t sure about this.

Thanks

Steve

We do offer training, as well as customized tutorials:

What are you trying to do which you are having difficulty with?

Upload the file here or send it in to support@carbide3d.com and we will do our best to look into this with you.

I bought this Aerostar SVG it’s too busy, I need to thin it out and just keep the outline maybe with a little detail. When I am cutting with a 0 flute upcut 1/8 bit it all kind of merges together and looks like crap.

This one I used an app to make svg out of a photo and it’s rough. I need someone to clean it up and make it cuttable.

Try a simplified model. I do this kind of thing every day.

That first seems to work well as a V carving:

The other is the sort of scan cleanup we walk folks through pretty regularly, hang on, we’ll walk through that in a step-by-step tutorial.

Cool yup this one works fine, its just too busy. Lines that should not be there, and when cut looks not really great. Thanks

This is cool a little cartoonie maybe for what I’m doing. Looks nice for what it is

Thanks

I agree. It wasn’t meant to be a solution just a more traceable file. Good Luck!

What was the original for the Sinclair Aircraft?

A cleaner original should work better:

Attached as a v8 file.

Thats really NICE ! Thanks! I guess the pro has a few more options, and your knowledge makes it happen.

Really appreciate it !

Image trace is in the bundled version, just a matter of having a clean original.

Also, sometimes ChatGpt can produce some great svg files if you want to try that. Upload an image and ask it to output a simplified b&w image. Then ask it to output it as an .svg file. Sometimes it’s incredible, sometimes not.

Although my work can look cartoony…cuz I do a lot of that… I prefer to draw vectors rather than trace them. As one gets better at it…and it takes a lot of practice…it actually becomes faster to get a useable drawing than repairing thousands of traced nodes. In a case like this it makes a lot of difference depending upon the use. Traced images are good for 60 degree vbits but not as good for 3d relief sculpting. Although I have to say that Will’s svg looks pretty darn good.

I have never used it, but it might be a good helper !

Thanks

This looks awesome.

I disassembled it and created layers. I wanted the text and the border ring to be pocket, and the other items to be contour with a 1/8 0-flute upcut. My machine had an anomalous hiccup and ruined my project lol I also ordered the 1/16th plastic cutters, hopefully it’ll improve the detail.

Thanks
