I got my Sweepy dust shoe today. I went out to connect it to my dust collection which has a 2.5" hose. I have a ton of adapters and none of them would fit the Sweepy. I went to Home Depot to see if I could get an adapter. They had a few but none of them fit.
Any ideas on what can be used to go from the 2.5" hose to the 36mm port on the Sweepy?

My suggestion would be to get a hose which tapers from the 2.5" connection to the 35mm input end.

I went to my local irrigation store and bought a 1.25" PVC slip fitting shortened and notched to fit Sweepy and a 1.25" PVC nipple filed down to fit in an old pool sweep hose that attaches to my dust collection system. Fits great and I think it cost about $1!
Also, dishwasher drain hoses fit and are flexible.
