Switches for 5 pro enclosure

First time poster here. I am building my enclosure for my 5 Pro I am going to buy soon and had an electrical question. I was going to put these type of push buttons (links below) to control the outlets for the VFD, CNC, Shop Vac and lights (all on two separate 20 amp circuits). My question is about wiring and grounding. Has anyone put switches like this to control their items? How did you wire them? Did you ground them? And do you have a better way of doing it? Any help would be great. Thank you.

I personnel would not use this type of switch. The ones you have listed I have used on my boat.

When it comes to 120V A/C, I would use standard wall type switches. I have installed 20Amp (standard is 15a) switches for my setup, all grounded per code and lines up with the grounded Shapeoko controller and VFD power cords.

How do you plan on wiring in the Latching push button if I might ask?

I was really looking for ideas on what buttons or switches people have used. I plan on 2 red pilot light switches up stream from two 20 amp outlets. Then use an extension cord pig tail to 2 sets (4 total) outlets under the enclosure. From there I was going to use a control switch for each outlet (VFD, Shop Vac, CNC and Lights). Does that make sense? I did not have a plan on wiring the latching push buttons and did not even know if I could use them in a safe way. I know wall type switches would be the safest but was looking for a smaller option I could maybe drill hole in the frame and mount them.

I see, if it were me I would use the standard home 20Amp switches. Mounting them in would be good just make sure they are positioned so to not accidentally turn them off while the machine is in operation.

You can wire your switch’s any way yo like. It makes sense, just allot of wiring. I picked up some 1/8” red LED’s, 120v to show power at a circuit. Simple 1/8” hole drilled and power available LED installed.

A workshop powerbar with light-up rocker switches has worked great for my setup.

That is kinda of what i was thinking. Just a little more custom look. I am thinking just regular switches might be the safe way to go
