T Slot Router Bit Zero

Hi,

I am looking at using a T Slot router bit to create an undercut section through my design. I have a Shapeoko XL HDZ and the Bitzero and was wondering how I would zero the tool. As I have only previously used a flat end mill with the Bitzero.

Start by probing with a supported endmill, then change to the T slot cutting tool, then re-probe for Z only.

And remember not to hit pause on the job when the T slot cutter is engaged…
