Tall Parts in Nomad 3?

Hello all,

I’m liking the price, overall size, that it is enclosed, and capabilities of the Nomad 3. I’m not caring for the limited Z depth, though…

Question: Is it possible to remove the base (or cut a hole in the bottom) and fixture taller parts in there so that the ends can be machined?

Not without super-voiding the warranty and making significant modifications to the cover and table. I wouldn’t dare attempt this on a brand new machine…

Hypothetically speaking, if one were to do this, the only possible location would be the left side of the work area.
