I HATE metal ones. They give you Bad shocks all the time. The yellow one.
Mine looks like this. A pro tip…put 1 - 5 gallon bucket inside another one for the cyclone. Otherwise it will implode.

Gotcha, yeah that happend with my Rigid shopvac and bucket. Crushed it like a soda can. Im looking at the stealthsonic, and I am see a lot of reviews, and I mean a LOT, saying that the motor burns out on a lot of them. How long have you had yours, and do you run it for multi-hour projects frequently?
Interesting. I’ve run it on my most recent 21 hour project without a hitch. Had it for 7 months and probably run it a total of 300 plus hours. Not a problem. I feel like there are people here who have had theirs way longer. I think the key is the cyclone. You get next to NO dust in the filter. Those that burn it out probably are not cleaning out their filter, or running fine dust through it like Sheetrock dust (that will kill ANY shop vac if you don’t have a bag).
Get the larger 12 gallon. The smaller ones have a smaller hose.
I used the separator from Harbor Freight and a Lowes bucket for a while and it was fine but I switched to the Oneida dust deputy and their bucket which is stronger and clear so easier to know when to dump.
I can’t remember who here on the forum posted the plans for this but I made one with some slight tweaks and like it
Ok, well I am in the Home Depot parking lot. Going to go buy ine now. Haha
Well I went and picked one up. And man you guys aren’t kidding. This thing is super quiet. I hate the noise of a shop vac. This isn’t bad at all. Now I just need to fine a good length of hose so I can run it up to the trusses in my garage and directly down onto my CNC.
I bought two different anti-static dust hoses when I first started — one doesn’t seem to be available anymore, the other is still listed at Woodcraft:
while you’re there, I would suggest also getting the nice screw-on dust collection fittings:
and to save on bags, a cyclone such as:
Getting the right dust collection fittings has been a pain in the butt. I have a collection of a variety of them and I go to improve my system and I’m always missing SOMETHING.
I will be getting at least a 15’ hose.
As far as fittings go, i have been seeing these heavy duty magnetic ones that look really good. I may investigate those. Only recently did I realize what an issue static can be on the system. So I am highly motivated to eliminate that risk right off the bat.
Since it is isolated, the SO5 Pro is less subject to such issues.
