Text arc radius and alignment point

After working with Arcs for a bit of time, I long for the arc features I had used for years in laser design software. I like the handle feature, but you are stuck sometimes with the snap to node of nearby objects (PITA). It would be nice to have a radius entry and also allow you to define bottom/middle/top as the alignment point.

A “Snap to Node” toggle in the view menu would be a nice addition to the “Snap to Grid” option.

Putting geometry on layers & locking that layer can help.

Or create some geometry that has the node where you want it.
