Text carving advice for Shapeoko

I’m new to my Shapeoko when I v-carve text, the finish inside the v is very rough in spots and barely able to paint. I’m using pine.

Re-run a full depth pass?

Which tool are you using? What feeds and speeds?

Post a photo and your file?

How are you securing your stock?

I recently got a new 60 degree Groovee Jenny vee bit. It is a down cut bit. I have used it on 5 projects and it is fantastic. The site is https://www.cadencemfgdesign.com/product-page/60-groovee-jenny

Pine is soft wood. When you cut cross grain it tends to tearout. That is the nature of wood. However as @WillAdams suggested cut the project a second time without removing the project.

Edit: fixed url for groovee genny. The post below is the correct site but is a combo offer.

I think your link may have an issue. Is this it?
