Text Won't Show Up On .SVG From Inkscape

I am trying to get the text to show up on this SVG file in Carbide Create that I created in Inkscape but so far I am unsuccessful. I have tried to convert the flowed text to regular text but that did not seem to work either.

Any ideas?

My understanding is that you have to convert the text in Inkscape to vector before importing in CC.

As @luc.onthego noted you want to:

• duplicate the file (in case you want to edit the text)
• convert the text to paths using the command Path | Object to Path

It worked! I tested it on a mirror and it looks pretty good. I tried to take a picture of the mirror but no matter how I tried it just did not come out very well. I will upload a photo of the next test I do on a piece of glass. Thanks, Will and Luc.onthego!
