Quick question before I jump real deep into tiling (for the first time). Do texture tool pads in Carbide Create work cleanly with tiling a large piece? I’m getting ready to do a 60" sign on my 48x24 pro 5 and don’t want to design it if it won’t work.
I would think so. the Tiling feature just splits the toolpaths into sections, it doesn’t generate differently. i.e. it still generates the whole path, but only outputs the bits within the tile boundary.
You will have to be very precise about your alignment with so much detail crossing the borders.
