So many outstanding projects have been posted on the forum and FB. Each day, I’m impressed by your creativity and execution. I’d like to see the community’s collective forces multiplied.
With that in mind, I have a challenge: Can you post five project files to CutRocket this week?
Five files that you are proud of. Five files with which you’ve had success. Five files that helped you learn a skill or technique. Five quality files to help everyone push forward along their CNC journey. Tools, trays, art, signs, objects, games, wearables, and anything else you’ve created.
If you only have 2 or 3 to contribute, post them. I’d like to see 500 new files hit CutRocket this week. How close can we get to that number?
If successful, this process should offer you access to 495 new project files for just the cost of your own 5 files. This could be the greatest return on investment you’ve ever experienced.
Well, as part of the CutRocket Content Challenge, here’s a challenge for the people running CutRocket:
Add a filter for the design program used for the project.
Right now, there’s no way to find projects that I can actually use without tediously clicking through to them. If I’m using CC, but the project files came from Aspire, the project effectively doesn’t even exist for me.
This is the exact reason I don’t even bother going to CutRocket. There’s no way to focus the search to usable projects, and adding more projects doesn’t help.
I second Michael’s request for filtering. I have a few projects posted and admit to having my head swell a little bit when I see that they have been downloaded. My introduction to Cutrocket.com was positive as I was a winner in one of Carbide3d contests.
However support of the site has been underwhelming for at least a couple years. I have submitted small projects that never appeared.
Hopefully that is being addressed. I look forward to the site coming back to life
