Not sure what happened to the top of the “O” but the rest looks good.
Any ideas??
You would need to watch it closely- after all, it’s a pen strapped to a router with a rubber band and can move…
don’t sweat it, the rest of it looks perfectly ok, probably just a small variation in the depth of the paper/underlying support
Don’t sweat the small stuff, you’re good. Cut something!
More curious than anything, on to a waste board and some clamps.
for starting (well what I did)… ebay has nice 12x3 (upto 12 1/2 x 3/12) boards that are 1/4" thick of various wood species… and for those kind of things, double sided tape is easier than clamps in my experience.
A 2mm end mill set from amazon or ebay is cheap and great to start with (if you want to do fine detail-ish stuffs)
(just make sure to remove all dust between jobs or the tape does not stick and comes loose)
This is a heck of a lot better than mine came out. My wasteboard wasn’t nearly level enough to start
