My son asked if I could make Thors hammer, and the results were better than I imagined.
I used a solid Oak core, and wrapped it with Maple and walnut for a nice contrast, and carved the cool bits with the Shopeoko.

Great work but my question is will it boomerang back to your son if he threw it.

it’s really heavy, might break something if it did that.
