Tic Tac Toe Set Out of HDPE

My six year old was sick, and couldn’t run around to play, so we made something together. The board is 6mm two-color HDPE, the pieces 3mm starboard.

Made the whole thing in Carbide Create, cut with .125 endmill, using feeds and speeds from the C3D chart. Board took 30 minutes, pieces took about the same. My kid typed in the numbers and made all the design decisions.

Came out pretty good!

Nice job. That’s what’s so great about this hobby. Almost no limitations and teaches everyone something new.

Thanks! I got the HDPE from inventables:

It’s pretty standard stuff — should be able to get it from any signmaker’s shop.
