Tiger Claw design Improvement

Can you provide a new tiger claw that has a longer body. as you can see from the image my hole spacing in the waste board does not allow me to use the tiger claw for this job, Yes i can add more holes to my waste board but i would have no problem paying more for a claw with more flexibility.

Have you considered using the Gator Tooth clamps for that usecase ?

I’m not saying there would not be value in long Tiger Claw clamps, just mentioning that the Gator Tooth are longer, so what can work is using a pair of Gator Tooth on one side and Tiger Claw on the other side, with the stock positioned such that it is closer to a row/column of wasteboard holes on the side with the Tiger Claws, while the longer Gator Tooth make up for the largest distance to the nearest holes on their side.

that could work, so the tiger would push enough into the gator for proper hold down?

Sure, they would act as stoppers on one side, while the Tiger Claws would be used to actually push against them from the other side. Using a corner square on one side is another option.

Here’s an example in the Tiger Claw intro video, the Gator Tooth clamps are placed laterally in that example, but the principle is the same

When my spacing doesn’t match my Tiger Claws, I use an MDF spacer block. Still very effective.

Also the Gators have a threaded hole that is angeld down in the foot that provides side and down force.
