Tiling help for rookie

I’m in the process of flattening a board 85" x 35" and have it set up for three sections. Each one is 30" in the Y direction. I think I was smart and noted the machine position for all three axis. I didn’t think about the amount of my board that would be extending out the front of my 5 Pro 4x4. Can I just move the board 15" to flatten the third section and move my starting point the other 15" toward the rear of my machine? I think this will give me the space to flatten the board and not have it extend so far out front that it would be tilting from the weight. I’m screwing it down to my waste board.

Yes, so long as the toolpaths are identical, that should work — it’s going to be challenging moving the board in such a way that you keep it exactly flat/parallel enough for a smoothing cut across the entire surface though — maybe make a router sled?

Thanks, Will. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
