Tiling with carbide create

Hey guys,

I am looking for some help on tiling with carbide create, or if it is even possible. I want to cut out a large word like “family” as one large continuous piece(all letters connected). Has anyone done something like this with carbide create? I know it’s possible with other software programs. I am curious if anyone has found a cleaver way to do this specifically with create.

It can be done, but:

  • you’ll need to do everything as pockets (no follow path operations)
  • you’ll need to manually set up overlapping regions if need be
  • you’ll need to set up the holes for indexing
