I think it would be fantastic if there was a “time left” feature for the specific bit that is running.
For example, I’m currently running a 30° Vgroove. It would be nice to know that in 32 minutes it is going to be time to change it. I can currently see the TOTAL time left, and at the beginning of the carve it tells me how long each bit will take between changes, but not real time.

Keep wishing. That has been on a lot of people’s wish list for a long time. The time estimates in CC is always wrong. The time in CM is always wrong. The time estimates may be accurate as far as how long to actually cut but things like rapid movements I dont think are calculated and therefore make your time estimates always wrong. Unfortunately time estimates in CM are ball park and that seems to be the best C3D has ever been able to do is guestimate the time. When CM estimates the time I generally mentally double that.
That is interesting. I seem to find them pretty close when I’m figuring time… at least in my short experience running the machine. I’ll watch it more closely on my next carve this weekend.
