what version of C.C. supported tool changes in the center of machine? The position in V7 is not working for me.
The tool change position is hard-coded in CM, not in CC. CC only outputs M6T# telling the controller to load Tool #. CM, and most commercial machines executes a macro to do the tool change.
Sadly, this macro is hard-coded in CM. If it were a man-readable file we could set it wherever we want. 
I think CM 600 was when they changed the toolchange position to front/right from front/center.
