Toolpaths and DXF

Greetings (newbie here)

I’ve imported a simple DXF into Create, and tried to contour for cutting it out, but the toolpath swaps from outside to inside for part of the job. I tried the same for a similar sized design I simply drew in Create and it works fine.

I note the import design is blue in colour in the design, but the made one is black. Is this a clue?

The vectors are likely magenta, indicating that they are unjoined.

Select them and use the “Join Vectors” command to close the path.
