When choosing probe xyz how do you determine how much overhang to place the touch probe block. Are you trying to get the defined circle in block over corner?
The overhang should be firmly against the stock:
Look at the underside of the Probe and see the cutout area which defines the right angle point at which the origin would be — position the Probe so that that is where the zero will be, and when the machine nudges as it probes it pushes the Probe against/toward the stock.
AAAhh. Thats why underside is cut out. Makes sense now
This may be redundant. But when doing only the Z axis. Place the probe on top of the material. Otherwiase the Z axis will be off by the thickness of the cut out.
