Tracing an image - what is threshold angle?

Hello, I’m trying to trace an image of a tree that has been outlined from a photo.

What’s happening in CC is that the outlines are presenting as double lines. When I set an advanced v carve, I’m not able to achieve the desired affect - which is to carve out the image.

I’m attaching the file if somebody wants to take a look and make suggestions. Does threshold angle have anything to do with it? I’m not sure what adjusting it does.

The problem here is that the program is working as intended — if you don’t want the doubled outline you will need to fill in the drawing — the image tracing is designed to work w/ solid b/w regions — think silhouettes.

Carbide Create doesn’t have a centerline tracing option.

It should be a quick/easy thing to fill in the drawing region in a pixel editing program — please e-mail it to support@carbide3d.com if you need assistance w/ that.
