I am running into several trimming issues. I saw an earlier post that mentioned it and the suggestion was to re-scale the circle or something. This did not seem reasonable to me.
I have been running into too many to keep track of. I documented one instance here to show an example.
I have a circle that I trimmed into an arc. If I try to trim at the 6 o’clock position (or 3, 9 and 12 for that matter) then nothing happens. In this case it didn’t even recognize intersecting segments (see photo).
If I move the line slightly to the right or left then it allows the trim feature to function.
The problem is, I am creating one quarter of a symmetric object so I need it trimmed at the exact position.
I drew the object in Microstation and exported to a dxf that I imported into the software. This presented all sorts of precision problems and is a whole issue on its own.
Any help is welcomed. If a programmer can take a look and come up with a permanent solution rather than a work around, that would be even better.
