Trouble with cutting curves. What happened?

Hi all, been using my shapeoko 5 on and off for months. Recently it’s not cutting circles nicely. It has been working perfectly well!

I’ve tightened whatever I could and lubed the machine too.

How can I resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance

Did you check to make sure the grub screws on the X and Y stepper motor pulleys are tight? This looks like a pulley is slipping.

On an SO5 Pro it would be the screws on the couplers for the motor, and ensuring that the DACs and so forth are in place properly.

Thanks for the education - I overlooked the “SO5 Pro” part. I’ll try to stay in my lane for those still running a dinosaur SO3 like me

Am I correct to say these are the bolts I need to tighten?

I have tightened them all, but my circles still aren’t smoothly cut.

Have you lubricated the slides and ball screws lately? If you were to rerun the program over the same cut does it change the path any? I had an issue where the ball nut was a little too tight on the x axis and would cause the machine to lose position and not repeat. This could be just the opposite a loose ball nut on one of the axis.
