My spindle quit working. Im not sure how to troubleshoot the problem. I have had the spindle about a year now without any problems. Unfortunately I havent had a chance to use the cnc for months and now the spindle wont work

Talk to support. Even though your warranty has run out they will still help you. Email to support@carbide3d.com and give them your information and they will respond.
