Tutorial for Wooden Inlays

I want to try a wooden inlay. I see that Advanced V Carve has a box that says “Inlay Mode”, but I haven’t been able to find any information on how to use it. I watched IDC Woodcraft’s in depth video and am a little concerned about the extra room to leave at the bottom of the cut and how that all fits together. I was hoping for some detailed info specific to Carbide Create.

Normally, we’d do more internal testing, but there are so many edge cases for this that we want to get it out in public now.
