and quite a bit simpler to set up than coordinating two pockets w/ a lip which is cut away by a ball-nose endmill to achieve a feature w/ a rounded bottom:
Unfortunately, the typical geometry of a tool which has a flat bottom and rounded corners is not supported in Carbide Create — one can either enter them as a square endmill (foregoing the 3D preview of the rounding) or as a ball-nosed endmill (foregoing the flat cutting and exaggerating the rounding).
