I am starting to use more very small bits like 1mm or 1/32 and sharp engraving bits like a 30 degree. Is it ok to probe or use the bitsetter with such a small/fine bit?
Thanks for any help.

Yes, it should be — when I’m working on smaller more delicate endmills (before I got my BitSetter) I would probe at the back right corner where the Probe would tilt by up to 3mm on contact for the initial Probe, then I’d shift the BitZero and probe again from a very low height so that the machine was moving slow enough to make me feel more comfortable about the tip.
Great thanks for the advice.
Ok, I finally read that enough that I figured out what you were saying. Using the word “Probe” so many times got me.
Good tip! Pun intended!
