Is it ok to use Mac cm and then use Windows cm on the same machine without setting cnc up again. I have both systems and may want to use one while the other system is being used for something else
Yes.
The toolpaths are already calculated in the file and are merely extracted — note that this allows for the case of text set in Mac font, toolpaths applied — the Windows side using CM never sees the text as text so it is not reset so the toolpaths remain unchanged.
