I just watched a youtube.com video from John Clark about V-Carving using Carbide Create. John Clark has a few videos that I have enjoyed. This one is very informative. In the video he explains some of the differences between 90, 60 and 45 degree bits and pocketing around an offset. I liked the content and recommend you go check it out. Thanks to John Clark.

Yes, John Clark @45rpm makes very good videos using the basic Shapeoko tools and I also recommend them.
