V1 S5P 4x4 STEP file - not official - not by C3D

For the last few days I’ve been modeling up my S5Pro 4x4 with the intention of using it for simulation, modding etc. I wanted to make this iteration of the model available as soon as possible so it is a bit undermodeled/missing things. I tried to get a majority of the important surfaces and screw holes but as I approached the x axis gantry with over 20 hours into the project I decided to make sacrifices here and there with the important parts being spindle location, plate sizes, dovetail etc.

My hope is those of you with an S5Pro can use this to make mods for all of us to enjoy.

Eventually I would like to release separate sections as step files so you can all use the model to simulate but I would prefer to tweak it until I’m satisfied with the quality before that.

I have chosen STEP files for compatibility as well as security for those worried about Zip folders etc.

Enjoy.
edit: spindle position wrong will fix soon

Looks amazing, thank you! If possible, can you set the coordinate system to Z-up to match most routers? When I imported into Fusion, it was negative Y-up.

When I do the next post I will try to, it’s a bit of an involved process I’ve currently butchered the main assembly suppressing every feature to create low poly versions (currently about 30mb but trying to get lower without losing important surfaces etc) and separated them into their X Y Z and frame/wasteboard components
