Validation of an SVG file, please

This should be interesting…
I create OBJs out of Unity. They import to Blender 1 for 1 with Unity.
In Blender I export the selected as ‘grease to SVG’ option. This is documented way.
CC show a blank canvas after import with no apparent error. Just blank.
Any help?

Here is the file:

Thanks in advance.

I just tried to open it with Vectric Vcarve, and your file doesn’t work.

Is there an option to select a plane or surface?

The file is empty:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!-- Generator: Blender, SVG Export for Grease Pencil - v1.0 -->
<!DOCTYPE svg PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD SVG 1.1//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/1.1/DTD/svg11.dtd">
<svg version="1.0" x="0px" y="0px" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" width="0px" height="0px" viewBox="0 0 0 0" />

What about Carbide Create?

The file will be empty when opened in Carbide Create because the file is empty as noted above.

When you export are there options to select planes or surfaces or objects? Was that done?

I selected just the one Object. Does it need a material or higher polygon count?

As I have a paid version of Vectric Vcarve, I don’t have Carbide Create installed.

As a Blender user I’ve never heard of this grease to svg option being able to export any mesh objects. I assume you’re tracing the mesh to a grease pencil object?
I did a quick test with the default cube, and Suzanne, (the monkey), Selected the mesh, then Object/Convert/Grease Pencil, and then exported the grease pencil object as an SVG. Both worked, and could be opened in Inkscape. They were just the front Orthographic view, and I didn’t see a way to change that when exporting, but I expect when cutting with a CNC that’s probably not a huge problem.
I did all this with 3.5.0 Maybe try downloading a the latest version, if you haven’t already.

Thank you.
I am not tracing. There was a search that gave that instruction.
I will try your instructions though.
