Doing a name insert on a cutting board and curious as to your recommendation for flat depth and the glue gap as well as the surface gap. I did this 2 years ago and lost my notes, back then I cut the plug off with my bandsaw but this time I will just use my surfacing bit to remove the excess plug. Appreciate your thoughts on this
