Vcarve pro 11 and carbide 5 pro spindle only works max speed

I just upgraded my carbide 5 Pro to the new spindle and now the carbide motion program only operates at max speed. I checked and the tool database will send over an 18,000 speed but carbide motion apparently is only seeing 24,000 RPM or at least it only runs the spindle at 24,000. I went in and unchecked the let bit setter run, but then it wouldn’t do the tool change automatically or set zero and that doesn’t work for me so I was wondering if there’s a way that I can have the system automatically work a bit setter and set zero and still use the spindle because everything worked with V carve pro and the router

When you upgraded the spindle, did you re-run the setup wizard? You need to make sure the correct spindle option is selected in Carbide Motion.

Thank you yes, I did. I also tried several of the options I read on this site that were older. I did the uncheck bitsetter but the problem with that is you don’t have tool change option in carbide motion after running toolpath. Its like I lost all the good functionality the router had by going to the spindle and I still can’t get it to do anything but max speed. I am sure it has to be me. I have an appointment with Tyler at 1230 but that was setup yesterday because I couldn’t get the spindle to come on, which I obviously fixed (loose connecter I think, not sure if it was in my head or the machine)

You want to uncheck BitRunner, not BitSetter.
