Good day,
Doing my first vcarve text inlay with pro version 8. My text is .75" in size. In set up window for female side of the process, the pocket operation shows “empty toolpath” regardless of endmill size selected. The “VEE” with 60 degree bit operation is fine. Is my text too small for this operation?

There is an empty Pocket toolpath:

because a 1/8" tool won’t fit into the bottom of the design:

I understand, but I also get it with a 1/32" endmill. Can I proceed with the inlay as is or should I adjust the lettering somehow?

Yes, if the Pocket Toolpath is empty that just means that the inlay will have a sharp point.

I hate being so clueless! It’s not working out and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Attached is the file I’m working with. I set up the female vcarve then mirrored the image and set up the plug. No worky. Numerous attempts. Please explain, thank you
