Vevor Spindle on SO5 pro / ADAPTATER PLATE?

Hello everyone,

I come to you because I received a Vevor 2.2kw spindle to mount on my shapeoko 5 pro.

Unfortunately the mounting holes do not match between the pin and the “Z plate” of the SO5.

Has anyone ever encountered this problem?

Would you make a custom plate inserted between the spindle and the CNC or directly drill the Z plate of the CNC so that the torus corresponds?

If we have a plan to share to make the spacer plate, I’m interested

I made a mounting plate for a different spindle as noted at:

Reworked the mount file a bit: [image] Modified the file to what I believe is the correct hole spacing for the mounting to the SO5 Pro plate — measure and check against yours before committing: SO5_Pro_mount_ADAPTER_Mafell_13_5_thick.c2d (608 KB) and cutting now: [20231209_1549201]

Not official, not supported, YMMV, test the fit and hole location and so forth, but it’s working well thus far — still trying to sort out dust collection.
