Vfd Error code Error2

Im trying to track down some gremlins. I bought a new pwnc spindle and retrofitted it carbide 3d vfd it took some steps to get it working but I was succesful. I hadnt used my machine in a week or so and went to do a simple sign vcarve and error1 popped up. I reset it and rehomed the machine and error1 returned. The next day I tried warmup from carbide motion. It worked. I also sent a midi command and that worked. Fast forward to today. I cant get the spindle to start in carbide motion either in warmup mode or sending midi command. I get error2. I am in bind because I promised the wife to make a sign for her charity. I checked the connector for a short or burn marks. I had to cut the existing cable to retrofit for a h17 connector.

I’m not sure if you’ve posted on the pwncnc forum as well but I’d recommend asking there to cover your bases. Not a ton of folks here will have context for your retrofit.

You could always go back to a router in place of the spindle to get the project done. That will buy you some time to get the spindle setup back up and running.

The pwncnc support guys are pretty responsive. They may not know what to do with your Frankenstein setup though.

I havent tried pwncnc forum yet. Have been in contact with support but the wildcard is carbide 3d vfd. I got rid of my router setup up awhile. I thought pwncnc spindle would be upgrade over repairing carbide3d spindle. Whole retro has been a total adventure not in a good way.
