I received The VFD module replacement, but it came with no instructions. I can’t figure out how I’m supposed to install this module into the VFD. Can someone give me some directions.

I looked at the links you sent, but the don’t seem to cover the process of installing the control module into the VFD. Please point me too information about doing this.

For that please contact the folks at support who arranged to send out the control module.

There was a Youtube video on the replacement procedure at one time. Support would know if it’s still available.

I’ve been looking into this as well, and I agree the general guides don’t really go into the specifics of installing the control module inside the VFD itself. From what I’ve gathered, it usually comes down to carefully opening the cover, seating the module onto the designated connector, and making sure it’s firmly in place before powering back on.
That said, the steps can vary depending on which VFD model you’re using. Do you happen to know the exact model number? With that, it might be easier to point you to the right documentation or a step-by-step guide.
it amazes me that Carbide 3d seems to know very little about a product they sell. The VFD shows no branding or model number so have not been able to find any info on this device on the internet. I still have no clue what the buttons or knobs on the device do.
I winged it, taking lots of pictures to make sure i could put it back together.
