I bought a 5 Pro almost a year ago and opted for the upgraded VFD. I haven’t used it but a few times. Now the spindle will not start in MDI or in the program. I can only able to get it to spin when I press the jog button on the VFD box.
I’m hoping someone has had similar issue or can tell me the proper way to diagnose the issue.

Is the LED on the front panel button dim? If so, you should contact support for a replacement PCB.
I don’t remember how bright it was before. I have reached out to customer service but was want to make sure it isn’t an easy fix on my end
It should be noticeably bright. You can also open the side panel and look for a green LED on the PCB when hooked up to your SO5 with power turned on to the SO5. If you see no green light and you have 24V across the red and black wire on the VFD cable then your PCB is bad. You can fix it yourself if you are decent at soldering and have an 0805 0 Ohm resistor or some jumper wire on hand.
