Video for 4 styles of bits in Plywood

If you cut plywood on a regular basis this youtube video was quite good at showing 4 different types of bits. Surprisingly a straight bit actually cut the best in what looked to be baltic birch. Take a look it is relatively short video.


Well not a thorough enough test in my opinion.
Lack of chip/dust extraction makes the bits re-cut more than they should.
The toolpath was not optimized for the compression bit.

(Just hope that @RichCournoyer doesn’t throw a tantrum because of the usage of “bits” :rofl:)
