Does here have a definitive value for “x” in the attached picture? I came up with 102.54mm or 4.037" both seem just slightly off of a round number. I measured centerline to centerline of 11 of the fasteners and divided by 10.
might be time for a surfacing,4.04" btw
assuming a 5 pro
i beleive the spacing is different on 3&4
Ya, 5 pro. Just surfaced -0.02" last weekend. I have some pretty deep “learning cuts”. The area pictured is one of the least affected.
It seems odd to me that the fastener spacing would be a number with so many digits after the decimal. Why not 4" or 102mm? Above my pay grade I guess.
This was discussed a bit in the SO5 Pro announcement:

The table T-slot spacing is now 4.04", instead of 100mm.
with the reason being noted as:
The table spacing and dimensions have been tweaked so that all of the MDF is now completely machinable by the cutter. That means that you can surface the Hybrid Table without the machine leaving remnants that would make it impossible for an oversized sheet of wood to sit flat on the table.
I had no doubt there was a reason. In my line of work I sometimes have to replace aluminum track. Depending on the vintage and vendor of the old track hole spacing is either 4" or 100mm. That being said, my brain short circuited when the hole spacing had so many decimals in both metric and imperial. Thanks for clearing it up for me.
