Hello all, Just wanted to share a sign I made for the entranceway. I thought I would Jazz itUp with a little Fade job. Its high gloss finish although it’s kinda hard to see in the photo. What do you all think. Thanks for looking.
Peace to You All

Looks great… I like the texture on the outside edge. I’ve been trying to come up with something other than a chamfer so that opens up ideas

Thanks Jeff They take a lot more time than a Chamfer LOL I guess that’s the trade off of detailed work.
Peace Bro

Jeff, adorable work! Pls tell us little more about the fade job, and how is the chamfer done? Again: Great!

Fantastic work Jeff !! Love that border and Vcarve. What wood did you use?

Hello Emmess,
Thanks, The Fade job was done by adding stain to the sealer, & tightening up the spray pattern on the gun. I then just misted my way in from the outside until I got the look I liked. The texture was done with a 60 degree V bit, in the texture category box.
Peace to You

Hello Darren,
Thanks a lot.I used Maple as I do for most of my stuff as it is plentiful around me. ( I mill a lot of my own timber ) It’s a very good taker of tooling I find usually running around 18,000 RPM and a feed rate of 90.
Peace to You
