Weird you mention a back scratcher. I have a brass back scratcher on my night stand that I turned a handle for. I realized that every night at bed time I was using it. I went to the bathroom and used a hand mirror to look at my back. I had several black moles and some weird looking spots where I was scratching. I went to the dermatologist and they burned the moles off but the part that was itching was keratitis spots. Keritisis is just an overgrowth of skin cells. They were all burned off. None of the moles were dangerous and the keratitis is not dangerous but there were removed. I had to go back a few weeks ago and have the keratitis burned off again.
I only have 2 mirrors in the house. The bathroom mirror and a hand mirror. I seldom look at myself very closely. Women tend to look at themselves more often when applying makeup and other things they do so they notice changes faster than most men. It is always a good idea to check yourself out once in a while.
I have a to do list and at night I design projects for cutting later. Sometimes it takes months before I get to the project but it is ready to do when I have time.
I’ve cut about 20-25 projects since getting the machine. I have an “Ideas” folder with 169 items, and almost 100 project files. A bunch are other peoples projects that I’ve helped on here or Facebook.
So, yes I have lots of stuff I’ve designed & haven’t cut yet, or never will cut.
Here’s one I did for a friend that runs a boutique shop that hasn’t bought the material or pulled the trigger on the order yet.
These are cool.
Question: on the stars and stripes, is it an optical illusion or does the word Michigan fade from blue to red? The “C” looks to be red but is sorta darker than the “H”?
Finally ran the back scratcher today.
First one the wood split.
Second one a knot popped out.
I’ll glue up the one that split, waiting on it to dry before finishing.
I’m going to try and fill the knot hole with wood putty. The hole goes through one edge of the handle. We’ll see how that goes.
