What is this part?

I ordered a Shapeoko XXL CNC, BitRunner, and BitZero and got them all - in the summer of 2020. I started putting together my Shapeoko, then life happened. I’m finally getting it together, but I haven’t been able to test it yet. (I have a touchscreen for a Raspberry Pi coming in this weekend and when I get that, I’ll be able to set up a rPi next to my Shapeoko and use the new Pi/Linux version of CM to test things out. So looking forward to that!)

What is this part in the image? It looks to me to be something like the BitZero - maybe a default device like that, which I don’t need with BitZero?

How does the other side look like?

To me it looks like a Amazon/eBay type z-probe, but that’s just my guess.

Yes, it’s exactly like what you’re showing.

Now I’m having problems remembering just what I was thinking. Maybe I got the BitZero so it could zero for X, Y, & Z instead of just Z.

Maybe you were going to use it as a BitSetter?

Possibly. Well, I’m just going to go on and use the BitZero and not get too into it!
